One-on-One with Canada's First Woman Prime Minister Kim Campbell

Kim Campbell, Canada's first and only female Prime Minister to discuss youth engagement in public service, minority inclusion, and her vision for preventing democratic backsliding. Today, our guest is Rt Hon. Kim Campbell PC CC OBC QC, the first and only female Prime Minister of Canada. To date, She is also the only female country leader in North America. In 2016, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau named her Chair of the Supreme Court Advisory Board. Prior to becoming Prime Minister, she was the first woman to serve as defense minister of a NATO member country and the first woman as Canadian Attorney General. Since leaving politics, Ms. Campbell has been a Founding Member at Club de Madrid.

Bincheng Mao moderates this interview with Prime Minister Campbell. He is the chief editor of Inclusion Advocate and founder of the East Coast Coalition for Tolerance and Non-Discrimination (ECC). Under his leadership, ECC has mobilized young volunteers from across the US to serve minorities struggling to access health services during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is a recipient of the Clinton Foundation COVID-19 Student Action Fund.
