On-on-One with John Sexton, former Board Chair of Federal Reserve Bank of New York

Recently, Bincheng Mao sat down with Dr. John Sexton to discuss global education equality, youth engagement in critical thinking and public service, and the moral responsibility to protect refugees.

Dr. John Sexton, widely regarded as "one of the world's most celebrated university presidents," was the 15th NYU President and made it the world's first global university. A fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, he has previously served as Dean of NYU Law School for 14 years and also as President of the Association of American Law Schools. He has also served as Chairman of the Board at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Chair of the Federal Reserve System Council of Chairs. In 2008, he received the French Republic's Légion d'honneur.

Bincheng Mao moderates this interview with Dr. Sexton. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Inclusion Advocate and President of the East Coast Coalition for Tolerance and Non-Discrimination (ECC). Under his leadership, ECC has mobilized young volunteers from across the country to help minorities access health care during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was named Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2021.
