Today, our distinguished guest is Sir Tim Hitchens, former UK Ambassador to Japan and Deputy Private Secretary to Queen Elizabeth II. He also served as Deputy Ambassador to France and previously the speechwriter to UK Prime Minister John Major. Presently, Sir Tim serves as the President of Wolfson College at the University of Oxford. Appointed by Queen Elizabeth II in 2018, he is a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (KCVO).
Bincheng Mao moderates this interview with Sir Tim. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Inclusion Advocate and President of the East Coast Coalition for Tolerance and Non-Discrimination (ECC). Under his leadership, ECC has mobilized young volunteers from across the country to serve minorities struggling to access health care and other social services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
